Description
When the leaves are down and most people think mushroom season is over, the forest gets quiet and a whole new cast of fungi takes the stage. Together we head into the winter woods and discover which species thrive in the cold, how they survive frost and snow, and where they hide while the rest of the forest is asleep.
With a bit of luck, we'll find oyster mushrooms, velvet shanks (wild enoki), wood ear and witch's butter, along with beautiful non-edible species like turkey tail that tell their own story about the forest.
Winter has its look-alikes too. Your Wyldforest guide shows you how to tell edible species apart from toxic doubles such as the deadly Galerina, so you truly understand what you're looking at. Because at Wyldforest we believe: you will only protect what you understand.
No prior experience? No problem. It's about trading the daily hustle for crisp winter air, shared discoveries and a completely new way to see the forest.
